Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page,

I'd like to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan to thank them for the care and support they showed Penny and I during our darkest hours.

Like many - I'm sure - I've always wondered what cancer charities do with all the money they raise and why there is still no cure for this vile disease.

Well, on the 3rd May Macmillan, along with some incredible doctors and nurses in Milton Keynes hospital helped arrange one the most memorable days of Penny's life. They went above and beyond in helping arrange our wedding. Sadly, Penny peacefully passed away two days later following a hard fight with pancreatic cancer.

The day after our wedding, Penny and I were told by Macmillan and Milton Keynes hospital that they had reached out to various companies in order to put together a wedding package to help others have the opportunity to reach their dreams during very difficult circumstances.

I understand this has been warmly received and Macmillan/MK hospital have been offered a lot of services.

Penny and I were deeply touched by everything this amazing charity organised for us and Penny's smile during the wedding is something I'll never forget and would have lit up the darkest corners of the world.

Thank you to Macmillan for making one of Penny's last day's incredibly special.

Please help me to raise as much as possible, this isn't a waste of money with no sight of a cure, they do use the money to provide hope and happiness during very hard times. Thank you all.
