Story

On the 12th of June, 3 men will embark on a mammoth journey. They are attempting to ride 400 miles between all Scottish Professional Football League Premiership grounds in just 4 days. They will finish at Hampden Park on Monday 15th June, which also marks the start of MND Awareness Week 2015.

Before the mammoth journey, they will also visit each ground in the SPFL Championship and Leagues 1 & 2 as part of their training.

John McKendrick, who is a SFA referee, has written books on cycling within Scotland. Laurie Findlay is a keen cyclist and has cycled between London and Edinburgh... … Phil Green bought his first bike at the start of the year.

Phil's gran passed away in the late 70's with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Back then sufferers of this condition didn't have the help and support that is available today through MND Scotland who do a fantastic job. The purpose of the charity cycle is to raise awareness of MND and to help raise funds, which will allow MND Scotland to continue with the great work that they do.

Thanks for taking the time to visit the page, if you can spare a few pounds....please donate.
