As a registered charity SaTH Charity makes a positive difference to the patients of The Royal Shrewsbury and Princess Royal Hospitals. SaTh Charity pays for equipment, patient comforts, staff education and research, which goes above and beyond the funded services provided as standard by the NHS.

Story

On November 16th 2019 all the Cashion’s will be completing a ‘Little Lights’ family walk around London Bridge with the charity ‘Bliss’, raising awareness on ‘World Prematurity Day’.

Bliss is the leading charity for babies born premature or sick. It supports families with a baby in neonatal care, works with health professionals to provide training and improve care for babies, campaigns for improved hospital resources, and is actively involved in pioneering neonatal research.

As many of you know, Joseph and Henry were born at 26 weeks weighing 2lb 2oz & 1lb 14oz. They spent 100 days in three different hospitals. After a rocky road to recovery, they were finally allowed home a few days after their due date.

The twins were mainly cared for in the Shrewsbury and Telford Neonatal unit. From the first day we felt completely relaxed at Shrewsbury and were impressed with the level of care the staff gave to our twins.

Joseph and Henry are now two strong, healthy seven year old’s. We’ve waited a long time to fundraise, so we are very happy to be completing this walk together as a family.

We are raising money for two charities, Bliss and Shrewsbury and Telford Neonatal unit.

We would be really grateful for your support in donating to either of the charities.

Thank you!

Jemma, Pete, Joseph, Henry & Eleanor
