My Mum and Viv were very close sisters, despite having the Atlantic Ocean between them for most of their lives.  It was a sad couple of days in April of 2015 when they both passed away within a day of each other.  Each had long illnesses which was eased by the support of family and organizations like the ellenor hospice. So my uncle Roy approached me earlier this year with the notion of fundraising for ellenor by my participation in the 2017 Maine Lighthouse Ride.  My two sons, Jamie and Liam, my sister Kate and my cousin Stuart (Viv's son) will be joining me for this Ride.  Stuart also has his own ellenor fundraising page.
