Story

Thank you for your support!

I will be at the Harold Wood CC Clubhouse (RM3 0LX nearest postcode) this Sunday 15th October at 2pm. It would be great to see you there.

The disability team will have their Essex League Winners medals presented at the same time, so there will be plenty to celebrate.

I MADE IT!

The adrenaline kicked in and I made good time to Land's End to get there just before 3pm. Was met my mum and TC and had a pint!

Many thanks for your support everyone!

Start of Day 9 - Launceston to Land's End (80 Miles) - LET'S DO THIS!

End of Day 8 - Through wind and rain I made it to Launceston at about 6.30pm - cycling pretty much o one leg now - but one day to go!

Start of Day 8 - Bristol to Launceston (104 miles) - Having been kept up by my snoring brother all night (joke) another early start for my penultimate ride. Legs a little wobbly still, but the light is at the end of the tunnel.

End of Day 7 - Managed to make it to Bristol in just about one piece, was happy to have some company in the form of my girlfriend Sarah's dad Chris. The last 10 miles to the hotel were a killer and am worried about my legs, but hopefully adrenaline and a willingness to complete the challenge will get me through the next few days.

Day 7 - Brewood to Bristol - 104 miles - after an almost rest day on the previous day I have a big day ahead.

Rumours of a special guest appearance by someone this evening to keep me company.

Day 6 - after the struggles of Day 5 I got to Brewood in good time, 74 miles or so is by far the shortest day of the ride so far. Was looked after superbly by my girlfriends parents - ready to smash the last three days

End of day 5 - tough ride including a bit of a knee niggle - but am over halfway there now - Ice bath refreshed my legs.

Day 5 - Halfway stage - Penrith to Haydock (114) Miles - going to be a long day ahead of me - follow me https://livetrack.garmin.com/session/54c0338e-a0c5-4fdd-9d7a-4fb8eaa59987/token/2D416A74978AF576E59C7BACCBEFACAC

End of Day 4 - Back in England - made good time to Penrith, but it took a lot out of me, glad to say goodbye to Scotland for this trip

Day 4 - Hamilton to Penrith - Bye Scotland, about 104 miles to Penrith today, and should be staying in England if all goes well. Am tired but determined!

End of Day 3 - Made it to Hamilton in good time, some spectacular views, but it was a tough ride. Had time for a cheeky Nandos - should be my last night in Scotland!

Start of Day 3 - early start as long day, about 115 miles from Fort William to Hamilton (just south of Glasgow). Will be some tough climbs today through spectacular scenery close to Loch Lomond. Weather looks like it may be ok today with just the odd shower.

Again thank you for the donations, it is helping me along the way.

DAY 2 - From overnight stay at Bonar Bridge I am travelling some 116 miles to Fort William via Loch Ness, will probably take close to 10 hours - keep up to date with where I am at this link https://livetrack.garmin.com/session/eb70fbfa-a867-4f3a-8ccf-4572b4e060f0/token/98ADF5E49FBAF0BEDA61216B5BBDA16

Thank you for all the donations, it is keeping me going!

DAY 1 -  It took me 12 hours to ride the 100 miles today, very hard work with pushing through a strong gale for 50 miles or so! But I got to the overnight rest spot at about 8pm. Slept like a log

I am raising money for Harold Wood Cricket
Club Academy and Disability Team. The club offers free cricket to the
disability team and this led to the side being crowned Essex Champions in 2017.
The club also offers reduced price cricket for all players under 21 right down
to the age of 4 years old.
