I have decided to give up alcohol for the 6-week period of Lent and am doing so in order to raise money for Yeldall Manor, a charity I’ve been helping for many years. 

Yeldall Manor helps men to overcome serious drug & alcohol addictions and return to society to live new lives, drug, alcohol and crime free.

Sadly, Government funding for residential addiction treatment has almost completely dried up. That’s why Yeldall Manor’s Bursary Fund has become an absolutely vital lifeline. It’s financed entirely from voluntary donations and is in constant need of topping-up, as we offer places to men who would not otherwise have the chance of a new, life, free from drug & alcohol addiction.

We try never to turn away a suitable applicant through lack of funding; so please would you consider sponsoring me and thereby helping Yeldall to carry on  helping as many men as possible?
