There have been times in my life when I could have so easily ended up homeless, through loss of work or health problems. It was frightening, but I was always lucky. Not everyone is.

Simon on the Streets works independently with homeless people, not judging, just helping. Especially those who have slipped through the net of the system.

I'm doing this, not because I think it will be fun, or life changing, but to help raise awareness of this marvellous charity, and hopefully to raise some much needed money for them.

I'm self employed, luckily this means my boss is very understanding and I have given myself the day off the day after this event to recover.
