We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Not many people run a marathon. It is something that I did not think I will do, until I started running some years ago to be healthier and lose weight. I find long distance running boring. This is why I normally run in Orienteering events. Now, I have got to a stage where I feel like I can do the distance and I am sure an event with so much support and history like the London Marathon will not be boring. Especially with the support of everyone surrounding the event, and especially my friends.

It is also supported by many charities and so it does so much good. There are so many good causes to choose from. Everyone who runs for any charity has made a good choice. Mine is Cancer Research because of the impact Cancer has made on my family's life so far, as it has for so many others. I suspect it will continue to make an impact in the future but I wish that it does so less and less, and I would be happy if I can contribute a little bit towards that goal. So I thank everyone who donates for Cancer Research UK through this page, although the real benefit should be your knowledge of helping the advance of this cause.
