Story

48 Parkruns in 48 Hours 🏃‍♂️⏱

Starting at 9am on Friday April 1st I will attempt to run 48 parkruns in 48 hours.

Taking place on the route of my hometown Bournemouth parkrun the rules are simple. I must run the route of the parkrun (5km) every hour for 48 hours. Totalling 240km or 150 miles it will mean some very tired legs, the occasional 20 min nap and hopefully finishing (in a heap) around 8:30am on Sunday 3rd April.

The challenge will be supporting will be Dorset Mind and its tireless work educating, challenging mental health stigma and supporting others. Your money really can make a difference so if possible please use this page to donate or text PETESPARKRUNS to 70460 to donate £10.

I will also be running the official Bournemouth parkrun 24 hours in carrying a bucket for donations so it would be great to see people there. I may look quite tired by that point!

I have no idea if this is possible, but let’s see hey as I’m sure it will be fun to find out or at least watch 😊
