Vitality British 10k London Run 2016 · 10 July 2016 ·

We provide support to people and their families in the UK who have Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (chromosome 22q13.3 deletion). This support is provided through information, therapies and financial grants, and by organising family days and get-togethers. Thank you for supporting PMSF UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Our friend Alison Turner has inspired us to run 10K for PMSF. Alison campaigns tirelessly for this cause, a very rare syndrome which affects her one of her three sons. Despite her very busy life, Ali also has limitless energy for everyone else so it's about time we repaid the compliment.

Please sponsor us to run the London British 10K on the 10th July. There are just over 130 families who are diagnosed with PMS in the UK & Ireland, and approximately 1500 worldwide. All people with PMS have difficulty communicating, many are non-verbal and most have low tone in their limbs. All people diagnosed with PMS need additional care to support their daily lives. Please take a look at what the foundation are up to here - http://www.pmsf.org.uk
