Event: London Marathon 2022, on 2 October 2022
Running a marathon is an enormous personal achievement. Our London Marathon Golden Bond runners not only complete one of the most famous races in the world, but also raise funds to support some of the UK's most vulnerable children and young people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running London 2022 in aid of Brathay after the race was postponed in April 2022. My wife supported me during my initial training and through lockdown, yet lockdown wasn't kind to us and we separated as a result. I want to complete the run as my way of saying thank you to her for all her love and support.

We work with a wide range of young people, often with fewer opportunities in life, including those managing the transition from living in care to independence, at risk of exploitation in unhealthy relationships, needing confidence to find work or training, or facing other challenges in their lives.
