Our mission is to improve the lives of children and adults with a learning disability and their carers. We do this by providing play, leisure, learning and respite opportunities. "My child was safe, happy and excited about going, she was cared for but not just left to get on with it" (Parent)

Story

Myself and my girlfriend Emily are going to do a skydive
to raise money for Sutton Mencap who provide day services for disabled children
and young adults. They get very little government funding and sadly in latter
years they have had to reduce the amazing things they do for people who attend.

This has resulted in less day clubs and trips out for the day. My brother also attends this centre and he has also had
his days cut due to lack of funding, our aim is to raise enough money to enable
there to be more days for the children and young adults to attend; sadly there
isn't much opportunity for some of the disabled people who go, so this is
really their chance to get out of the house to be a part of the community which
they deserve!

The mission here is to raise money as the main event of
myself and Emily doing the skydive but also include other events throughout the
year such as music and BBQ nights. Sutton Mencap is an amazing cause and it is
about time they have some funds to continue with the amazing working they do.

We welcome and look forward to your support,

Many thanks
