Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Sunday 9th October 2016, I will be running the Vitality Oxford Half Marathon to raise funds for twins William and Arthur Warner, aged three, who have Spastic Diplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy that affects the muscle tone in their legs and makes it very difficult to stand and walk.

Born at just 28 weeks both boys seemed to be progressing well at first, however by their first birthday they were still unable to sit up, crawl or pull themselves up to stand. The boys parents Simon and Gaynor Warner are currently trying to raise £100k for a procedure called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) that, with the right physiotherapy and lots of hard work, could give both William and Arthur a better chance to learn to walk independently.

Please donate anything you can to help make this happen. All money donated through this page will go towards the boys operation and treatment.
