In 2 months time I have made the last minute and slightly scary decision to enter the London Triathlon and compete in the Olympic distance event in order to raise money for Bloodwise.

Bloodwise is the UK's specialist Blood Cancer Charity who tackle all different forms of blood cancer including Leukaemia and Lymphoma. Approximately 25,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with a form of Blood Cancer each year. The charity not only research into the illness but also use their donations to provide practical and emotional support to patients and their families.

The event itself is going to be a challenge but that doesn't even come close to the challenges faced everyday by those and their families living with these illnesses.

Bloodwise receive no Government support so all of their funding comes directly from their supporters. Please dig deep and any donations to this cause will be so very gratefully received.

"We won't stop until we've beaten Blood Cancer".
