For months I have been debating whether to cut off my hair in order to donate it to the Little Princess trust, who take people's hair and make it into wigs for children who have suffered cancer and cannot get used to having no hair, which I think is a wonderful idea!! I wanted to do something with my hair but instead of styling it I thought I would do something useful with it and hopefully help someone else!!

You may wonder why the money you donate is going to Battersea instead of the trust, and let me explain: Three weeks ago my mum, boyfriend and I went up to Battersea to hopefully give a home to a doggy. When I went up there I was expecting to be heartbroken because of all the dogs who didn't have a home; but very few dogs seemed distressed. It is very very clear that Battersea love and care for every single dog who is taken in, and it is heart-warming to see the dogs and just how much each employee and volunteer cares. We found a dog and right now he is on the sofa with us. I did not realise how much he would affect me. I look at him and he fills me with pure joy and happiness and I couldn't wish for anything else. Battersea gave me happiness, they gave me a lovely dog and they try to rehome all of their dogs. (Saying that, they do make sure the dog is going to a good and safe home!) I want to give something back to Battersea as they wouldn't be able to do the amazing work they do without donations!

So there you go! Hopefully, a child will be made a wig from my hair and more dogs will be cared for at Battersea with your donations! If you could spare anything, even a single pound it would mean the world to me and these trusts.
