Story
This summer I was devastated to learn of the death of my school friend, Rick. He died of Leukaemia after a long fight and during his illness he spent a lot of time raising the profile of The Anthony Nolan Trust. This charity works to recruit people to the stem cell donor register and help people with Leukaemia.
I am fundraising to help Anthony Nolan continue their amazing work and so that more lives can be saved.
I grew my hair for my wedding and I love it! But I don't need it any more, and hopefully by having it cut off I can raise the profile of this amazing charity and give them a bit of money too! The hair itself will be sent to the Little Princess Trust to be made into wigs for children who lose their hair though cancer.
So please do support me! Every penny will be so gratefully received, and if you know anyone age 16-30, please do point them towards the Anthony Nolan website to become donors themselves!
Thanks so much. Love, Poppy

Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. We do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. We also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. We won’t stop until we save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings us closer to that day.
