Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 19 January 2017, Celso Jr Tandayang Banas was tragically killed while working in the engine room of his ship as it approached the Port of Felixstowe.
Thousands of seafarers put themselves in danger every day sailing the oceans to deliver the goods upon which we all rely. Fortunately, very few come to harm, especially when so close to port.
Everyone in the industry works hard to make it as safe as possible but, unfortunately, tragedies do happen from time to time. They are keenly felt by everyone involved in the industry but by no one more than the family of the deceased.
All donations made to the Apostleship of the Sea through this appeal will be passed to his family. Neither the Apostleship of the Sea, nor the Port Community Fund, will make any deductions for their time or costs.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
