Story
My father has been suffering from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma for over 20 years and on 3 occasions when the lymphoma has come out of remission the great hand of the multi layered cancer care teams have got together and embraced our family.
I want to help make a difference, Yorkshire Cancer Research tell me the number of incidences in Yorkshire can be reduced and that I can help through engaging with my community and helping reduce risk.
I have taken this on as a personal journey to help make that difference. I have completed the Leeds 10k and Great North Run in recent weeks; inspiring members of my family to join me running the 5k in October is a bonus!
The Bradford 5k and Abbey Dash are the next two challenges with more to follow afterwards!
