Story

On 23rd December 2015, my Dad fell at work. An ambulance came but they immediately decided he need airlifted to Newcastle RVI. The Pride of Cumbria air ambulance was called and a journey that could have taken an hour only took 20 minutes. At the hospital it was discovered he had badly bruised his kidneys and liver, broken a rib and fractured L1 and L2 of his lumbar spine.

He has since made a fantastic recovery and has returned to work. My family and I will be forever grateful for the Pride of Cumbria and their quick response. We would like to show our appreciation by helping to raise money for their cause.
