We are a small, lively, totally voluntary charity offering food, clothes, shelter, education, health, and fun to the children from extreme poverty who live in our refuge in the desert shanty towns, where we also undertake practical initiatives with the local communities. www.projectperu.org.uk

Story

Your donation is even more important to us this year as sadly our fantastic 'annual' Paris bike ride fundraiser did not happen in 2018!

Enjoy wonderful celebrations but...please support  this appeal. Your generosity would ensure that the children living  in our refuge can once again go out and share food and fun, hot chocolate and panetones, music and dancing, toys and gifts, with those living in extreme poverty in the shanty town communities that surround our refuge. We would be so happy if thanks to you our children will also be able  to welcome a group of older people living in increasing poverty to enjoy a day out with the Project Peru family in our refuge, and share a warm welcome and our Christmas entertainment, and receive gifts of food and zimmer frames. After this Christmas we will be taking warm clothing, blankets and toys to isolated, almost forgotten communities in the high Andes. Your donation would bring a smile to the faces of the children and joy to everyone in our refuge and to those marginalised in the local shanty town communities this Christmas.

Your ongoing generosity and encouragement are vital and mean we can go on offering food, clothes, education, shelter, health and fun all year long to the chidren from extreme poverty living in our refuge and beyond. As always we value your support and are over the moon knowing that Project Peru has such amazing friends!
