I recently graduated as a children’s nurse and I am now starting my career as a school nurse in London. I have worked with and still work with many children with terminal illness’ such as Cancer. Nursing isn’t easy, but it is an honour to be able to work with such resilient kids and be a part of their journey from diagnosis to recovery, as well as supporting their families and helping in any way I can. Unfortunately, not all of the children’s journeys end happily and I am very passionate about trying to turn this around. 

Children with Cancer UK are a leading national children’s charity that are dedicated to fighting cancer, with their motto being ‘until every child survives’. I recently got accepted to run the London marathon in October, which is already an honour in itself, but the fact I can do this and raise money for such an important charity is amazing. Even the smallest amount can do so much and I am grateful for any donation big or small - even just bringing about awareness is a great start.
