Story

Setting off from Lewknor in Oxfordshire, the adventure into the North Wessex Downs begins. Wandering through golden corn, vast fields and stunning countryside as far as the eye can see. From the Uffington White Horse to Liddington Castle, the journey promises to be rich in both history and breath taking scenery.

This 100km walk is a journey on a number of levels; walking in the footsteps of our ancestors along an important ancient byway, a continuation of the physical challenges that I started last year with the national 3 peaks, a journey to fitness in later life, and a journey with a great friend, having some laughs along the way. The fact that we can also raise some funds for a very important organisation seals the deal.

So, we are expecting some pain, we are putting in the hours to get ready for the start line, our families are suffering our absence on the long training walks, so if you can help by spreading the word or sparing a few quid our appreciation will be endless.

Thank you.
