We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

My amazing wife Rachel Davies was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour in June 2015. This news rocked our world and would change our lives forever. After 2 operations, 2 failed rounds of chemotherapy and 2 rounds of Radiotherapy, Rachel is fighting against this terrible disease. Rachel's tumour is a grade 4 glioblastoma which is the most aggressive and lest respondant to treatment. We feel stronger than ever and our aim is to raise awareness, and as much funding as possible to help this great charity, help others affected by a Brain Tumours and ultimately defeat Brain Tumours for good.

Please, help us if you can. A donation, no matter how large or small it is, will go along way to helping people suffering or affected by a Brain Tumour, or help who have lost loved ones in the past, remember them in all their glory. We have met some great people on our journey so far and we will not doubt meet a lot more amazing people along the way.

My business M W Car Sales Ltd hopes to enter a classic mini race car, sponsored by 'The Brain Tumour Charity' into the BARC Mighty Mini Championship in the near future. We hope to raise awareness and funds for the charity that so many lives have been affected by. My Cousin Greg Jenkins is racing a Super Mighty Mini this season proudly supporting the charity with it's logo on the side of the car. The mini will be attending all BARC race meetings this season so look out for us and come and say 'Hi'.

M W Car Sales Ltd donates £50 pounds directly to The Brain Tumour Charity form every car we sale. The charity has been a massive help to get our business up and running and we hope to raise as much funds as we can. Keep an eye out for our business as we have a lots of fund raising event coming up.

I would like to mention the sad loss of three guys who passed away from this terrible illness. Graham Cowley, father of current Mighty Mini Driver and Mini specialist Ryan Cowley, Neil Fearnley, who drove in the Might Mini Championship for many years, and Albert Wilcox, a work colleague at Britpart for nearly 10 years. RIP guys, lost but never forgotten. Condolences to their friends and family.

The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. We fund pioneering research to increase survival, raise awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and provide support for everyone affected to improve quality of life. We are committed to having the biggest possible impact for every person affected by a brain tumour, and to defending the most amazing part of the human body.

Personally, and from all of our family, we would like to thank everybody associated with The Brain Tumour Charity. During a very tough period, the support of this great charity has comforted us and given us hope of a cure in the near future. The charity always has someone available too talk too and to provide us with the information we need to deal with this horrible disease. Without The Brain Tumour Charity and all its wonderful staff, lives for everyone suffering from or affected by a Brian Tumour would be so much harder.

Thank you for your continued support,

Matt and Rachel
