RAW's Parkinson's Appeal · 1 February 2017

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Join your student radio station through day and night as your favourite shows on RAW come together for one glorious 50 hour broadcast as we carry out our Parkinson’s UK Appeal. From 12pm on Wednesday 1st February to 2pm on Friday 3rd February RAW are appealing for Parkinson's UK.

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition affecting 1 in 500 people. There's currently no cure for Parkinson's and we don't yet know why people get the condition. Parkinson’s UK are working hard to change this. They are a great charity that not only funds research but provides essential support to those suffering from the disease.
