Help more people beat cancer
In the spirit of gentle child abuse, I've been making Sophia (6.... just) train for a three mile long hill run. Her tiny legs have pounded out the miles in training and she is just about ready to do it without keeling over.
(Not me, you understand. I am of course in no danger of keeling, what with my extremely high levels of fitness. I might do it hopping actually, just to make it challenging).
Of course we are not doing it just for giggles or as an excuse to get out of the house and listen to music on cleaning day (but Darling, we have GOT to train...I only wish I could wash up at the same time...). The whole reason is to raise a little bit of money for those rather marvelous cancer research people.
As I'm sure you know, I lost my own mum to cancer just a few years ago and I would really rather that they came up with some medicine that means fewer people face the same challenges that she did.
Sophia suggested the target amount so it is modest enough that literally every pound will move us a good way towards achieving it.
Gift Aid it!
If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.
Every pound you donate really does make a difference - so please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support. Together we will beat cancer. Well... not me personally. Not you either I imagine, but together we can pay the people who know something about it to do something useful. (this is why I don't work in advertising).
