I am running the Race for Life in memory of my dad Adrian Spinks who died from bowel cancer. My dad should not have died from this disease. He was a healthy eating non-smoking vegetarian who hardly ever drank. He loved running and I remember him completing his half marathon with pride.

That is why I want to help raise money for research, to find out why this happens and try to find a cure for this devastating disease. Unfortunately it comes to late for my dad, who fought bravely to the end of his life, but it could help keep someone else's family together.
