Cancer, we're coming to get you!

My girls asked if they could do the Race for Life and would I go with them...so this is their idea!

So I am now in training as I intend to run as much of it as I can...and 5K is a long way for a novice!

We are running in memory of my very good friend Linda Jones who sadly lost her life to cancer almost 5 years ago leaving a daughter Ellen, the same age as my Amy. She is now 10 years old and is joining us for the race. And we are going to have FUN! 

Have a look at the photo I have put on here of her and her dad Keith having fun at Woodlands in Devon over the Easter Break.  We had the pleasure of spending the week with them.  You could not wish to meet a more well balanced and well mannered 10 year old. She is a credit to the great start her mum gave her and the continued love and support of her dad.

So dig deep guys n gals.....firstly I need your sponsorship to keep me going to make sure I keep up the training and secondly, but more importantly we need to raise as much as we can to fight this horrible disease.
