Ellie and I are doing Race For Life this summer - for those of you who know us well, you'll know that this will be a challenge to our normal routine of slow walking and never running for the bus so dig deep guys - this will be a momentus feat :)

On a more serious note - the money raised goes to Cancer Reserach UK, and it goes a long way towards supporting the ground breaking work that has saved millions of lives in the UK and across the world. 

According to the Cancer Research website - approximately 1 in 3 people will develop some sort of cancer over their lifetime. This shockingly high statistic makes the work they do even more important.

Ellie and I have also decided to do this in memory of a lovely lady named Susan Blay. Sue gave of herself so willingly, shared her time so selflessly and loved so freely everyone who crossed her path. One of the world's gentler souls who sadly died of breast cancer. Eventhough she's gone, this is our way of trying to show that her legacy of love, kindness and generosity still lives on.

We will also take into consideration doing things for sponsorship - currently Clare and Ellie are sponsoring me to dress as a badger - so far I'm thinking I can do that! Any other ideas people?!?

Please help us with this worth cause and hopefully together, we can beat cancer (how cliche did that sound?!lol)
