My name is Lillie and i am 6 years old.. in 2009 when i was 3 mommy was told i had poorly blood - it was called leukaemia.

I have had lots and lots of needles, lots and lots of medicine and lots of special sleeps with a mask that smelt horrible - oh and i had a wiggley too.. and a fuzzy head like my uncle matty because the medicine to make me better meant i had to have new hair too. 

I saw lots of other children like me in hospital - we all had fuzzy heads and wigglies - but we all just enjoyed playing - even when our mommys looked sad - we had smiles.

 My blood is better now. I dont have to have any more needles or sleeps with the smelly mask and i dont have my wigglies. I dont have to have lots of sleeps in hospital anymore -  I just go and see the doctors and nurses then i can go home again. My hair is long now and i like having it in a ponytail. I dont have any medicine to take so i have lots of energy to run and play.
