The reson I'm running the Race for Life this year is because my Gran is suffering from cancer that cannot be treated. I have always known that cancer doesn't just affect the person who has it, it also affects all their friends and family. You never truly know what someone is going through until it happens to you, I never knew how much everyone would have to chip in to look after my gran, how many hospital trips there would be, how weak my Gran would get. My Gran has a brian tumor so when they cut it out it ment that she couldn't walk properly and she would need constant help with everything. Her cancer stayed in her brain and she is too weak to be treated. It's horrible watching someone you love wither away and no-one should have to go through that. This year I'm not just running the race for life for my Gran, I'm running it for everyone who has ever been affected by cancer so please sponsor me. Every pound counts.
