Being the good person that you all know I am, once again my humanitarian disposition has taken me to my new and very difficult adventure that it is to run a whole 5 Kilometres in one go!!

So for one day, one day only, I will take my heels off for 6 hours (estimated crawling time) and I will run my guts out to raise as much money as possible to support Cancer Research.

This is for my cousin, for being so brave and strong and an inspiration to my family - for talking us through her treatment so we would understand and feel less scared, and for always having a smile on her face. It is for you too Noelia, a true warrior!! We love you and can't wait to have you back in London...

Now, please please please sponsor me!! Cancer will affect someone close to you at some point in your life - it may even affect you - I hope not, but whatever money you give Cancer research, it's a worthwhile investment.

Thank you for being so generous, those who know me well are fully aware that running is not something I do (oi! I am not lazy...) but I promise I will do my best to run all the way to the final line.

Hola a todos/as,
 
Siendo yo la persona tan buena que soy, una vez mas mi disposicion humanitaria me lleva a realizar aventuras dificiles, de riesgo, como correr 5 kilometros, sin parar y todo seguido!
 
Asi que por un dia (solo uno, eh?) voy a cambiar mis preciados tacones por unas deportivas y voy a correr con todas mis fuerzas para recaudar dinero contra el Cancer.
 
El dia 19 de Julio, tomare parte en una carrera solo de mujeres que se llama Race for Life en Regent's Park en Londres.
 
Voy a correr sobre todo en honor a mi prima, por ser tan valiente y fuerte y una inspiracion para toda mi familia - por explicarnos la enfermedad y el tratamiento para que pudiesemos entenderlo mejor y de esa manera estar menos asustados y tambien por tener casi siempre una sonrisa en la cara. Tambien lo hago por mi amiga Noelia, otra valiente! Estamos deseando tu vuelta a Londres - ya te queda poco...
 
El cancer afectara a alguien cercano tuyo en algun momento de tu vida, cualquier dinero que doneis para el estudio de la cura del cancer, es una inversion que merece la pena.
 
Los que me conoceis bien, sabeis que correr no es mi fuerte, pero prometo hacerlo lo mejor posible y llegar hasta el final (aunque llegue a gatas!!).
