My Sisters, Cousins and I will be doing this 5k Run in the Loving Memory of the late “ Delores Diana Hay”  (My Mother, My Rock and now My Angel) whom was diagnoised with Gallbladder Cancer on 6th December 2010 and died on the 10^th Feb 2011 at the Young and beautiful age of 52.

  

Gall bladder Cancer is a very rare form, which only affects around 500 women in the UK every year. This Cancer  is very hard to detect and normally doesn’t appear until it is in the late stages, which gives very little chance of survival, so as you can image there is an urgency for more intense  research to be done in this area so that it can be detected at an early stage, and save lives!

 

We will also be running for every women out there who is battling, been affected or will be affected by Cancer in some way.

 

So please support me, as I do this run and remember every “penny” counts, when it comes to saving lives.
