Story

As many of you will know my darling husband Malcolm was diagnosed with bowel cancer four years ago.  We were fortunate to have a good thorough surgeon who caught it just in time, another week and the story may have been different.   A course of chemotherapy helped stamp it out.   Malcolm is still in remission and we live from year to year hoping that the next check-up will give us the news we wait for, that he is still clear.

Unfortunately my mother was not so fortunate, although cancer was not the primary cause of her death there is no doubt it contributed to it.

I am taking part in the Race for Life as a celebration of Malcolm's treatment to overcome cancer and in memory of my mother.
