We know there are always loads of people asking for help with sponsorship of various events. We hope you'll consider giving something towards our effort. We're no different to the thousands of other fundraisers; like most others our lives have been touched by cancer because we've lost people we love to this terrible disease.

Becks is raising funds in memory of her two dear grandparents who died last year. I was doing it in memory of two dear friends, Micha & Glesni Cunningham, but four weeks ago life threw another curved ball which gave me an even more significant reason for wanting to do my bit ... my wonderful Mum was diagnosed with leukaemia. It came like a bolt out of the blue and has left us all stunned. The sooner we find a cure for the various forms of this hideous disease the better.
