As you may know I've been a coach at Nottingham Corsairs RFC for a few years helping in the mini's. Sam Ross joined the Corsairs at the start of last season in the Under 11's and was an instant hit.

He went from never having played rugby to being selected for our strongest team in only one season and at the year end awards was voted "Best Newcomer".

Over summer we got the upsetting news that he has been diagnosed with leukaemia and has started an intense course of chemotherapy. So far all the progress has been positive and he is on the long road to full recovery.

CLIC Sargent have been brilliant in supporting his family during this very stressful time, all I want to do is with your help try to raise a few quid on their behalf.
