Story

The Royal London Hospital’s Play Team are running the ASICS London 10k run on the 21st July and are raising money for Friends of The Royal London Hospital charity. The Friends have provided fantastic support to our team for many years. For example, they have helped us purchase play resources for waiting areas and inpatient playrooms and have funded our ‘Buzzy Bees’ for across the hospital (a distraction and procedural support resource). The Friends provide funding every year for inpatients and outpatients to receive magic entertainment which brightens many children's hospital appointments and admissions! We would like to show our appreciation of their on-going support and raise funding for future projects.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving Page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. Many thanks,

About the charity

Friends aim to provide amenities to support the social recuperation of all ages that have to stay in the wards either before or following treatment. Funds are raised over and above the NHS provision to provide patient comforts, which help to make time spent in hospital better for all. Big Thankyou
