The Walt Disney World Half Marathon & Marathon 2015 · 10 January 2015

Following the horrific murder of Sophie Lancaster, her family wanted to ensure a lasting legacy to their beautiful, bright creative daughter and so The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was established and it became a registered charity in 2009. We do this through various means including education.

Story

I'll be running the "Goofy Challenge" at Walt Disney World in Florida in January.  This is basically an excuse that I can use in order to go on holiday to Disney World.

To reiterate: on Saturday 10th January 2015 I will run the Walt Disney World Half Marathon, and on Sunday 11th January 2015 I will run the Walt Disney World Marathon.  39.3 miles in two days.  Ugh.

As many of you know, I have run a few other events throughout 2014 (including another Marathon), so if 39 miles in two days doesn't impress you, perhaps you can combine it with these as well?  If you're interested here's the full list.

I'm running for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation.  The Foundation do great work in schools and communities around the country, providing education to kids and young people about the dangers presented by any kind of prejudice or hatred.
