Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. St David’s Hospice Care provides bespoke, individual care for patients and their families. They work alongside patients and support them at the most difficult times of their lives. They ensure that patients have choice about the care they receive and maintaining dignity throughout their journey.

Rob’s father Brian, Claire's mum 'our Secretary Lyn' and Anna's father Tony recently received compassionate and excellent care from the hospice and its nurses. Our vice chair Deb also holds St David close to her heart after receiving amazing support following the death of her father, Robert, 13 years ago. With events cancelled and shops closed any fundraising is greatly needed to keep the hospice open and nurses out in the community helping those who need end of life care.  They would not be able to maintain these vital services without the help and support of local people and the business community.

We would like to say a ‘very big thank you’ and hold a RVAC Relay event over the weekend of 30th and 31st of May. You can Walk, Bike, Run, Skip… 2k/5k/10k over the course of two days and something for all the family (Pets welcome to join in too).  If you are isolating you can use your garden, treadmill, cross trainer etc

Distances can range and you take part as a household or as individuals.

Please post the total miles covered along with photographs, onto our event facebook page and we will total the mileage to see how far across the world we travelled together 😊

You are welcome to wear fancy dress/RVAC tops or vest… make team support banners or relay batons.

Music, fun and smiles a must!!
