Myself and Garry White are fundraising for Notts County FC’s registered charity – Football in the Community who work with over 10,000 local disadvantaged adults and young people each year.
Part of the fundraising will support the community projects they deliver across the county, the remaining funds will help sponsor the trip, allowing us to spend 10 days volunteering my time improving a small village school’s project in Nakuru, Kenya.
The trip is organised through African Adventures and will take place in November 2016. This trip will allow us to make a positive difference both locally and abroad in a community that has very little. I will be working with teachers to support children aged 4-18 and help with the building and renovation of the school.
Any support is greatly appreciated and will really help us to make a positive impact upon the lives of many people.
