Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Losing both my parents to cancer last year was so difficult but if it wasnt for the help and support from all the staff at st giles I dont know how we would of coped every single one of them is an inspiration.

My friend Claire told me about the solstice was on the 23rd June 2012 and we have decided to do it in memory of my parents.

so what will your donations go towards

£5.00 pays for a nutitious meal

£10.00 will help a patient feel relaxed and refreshed in a special bath

£20.00 enables a patient to recieve  a complementary session

£50.00 will provide an hour session of breavement counciling

£100.00 enables a community team nurse to make a home visit

£250.00 provides 24hrs of dedicated specialist hospice at home care

£500.00 covers the cost of an admission to the in patient unit

and

£1000.00 pound will run the day hospice for one day enabling up to 10 patients to recieve specialist care and support and develop new skills to enhance their quality of life.

st giles is an amazing charity and the support they give is like no other and to think they only run off donations is incrediable. I hope to give back to them by raising as much money as possible to say thank you for everything they did for my parents and i would be so greatful for any donations xxx
