At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

My Gran was diagnosed with Dementia shortly before finding out she had stomach cancer, she deteriorated quickly and we lost in April 2016.

One without the other would have been bad enough but the 2 together meant the most wonderful and loving woman I know never stood a chance.

My Grans mum, Alice also suffered from Dementia in the years before she died. Though dementia isn't passed down through families genetics do play a part, the more we understand the more we can do to prevent and one day stop dementia.

Until then let's do everything we can to make the world a more Dementia friendly place.

I've never cycled 100 miles so let's see how this goes and hope I don't vomit on myself on TV.

Any money you can give you be amazing
