Story
Radio ENRG would like to invite you to tune into the FOURTH annual end of semester 24-hour charity broadcastathon taking place from 9am on Wednesday the 26th of April.
Presenters will be sacrificing their sleep to ensure a better future for the animals at Edinburgh's Dog And Cat Home. The radio station will be hosting a special 24 hour broadcast of 100% live shows – straight from the ENRG HQ at Edinburgh Napier University Merchiston Campus.
From 9am on Wednesday (26th April) morning until 9am on Thursday (27th April) you can expect fascinating interviews, brilliant live music and chat with local bands served up by Napier staff & students for a fantastic cause.
This year, we’re raising money for Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home (EDCH). EDCH has been a safe haven to stray animals since 1883 and still rescues over a thousand lost or abandoned dogs and cats every year. They provide a vital service to the community by trying, wherever possible, to reunite owners with their missing animals. But there are times when owners cannot be found or are unable to cope and that’s where EDCH’s re-homing programme comes in.
