On Sunday 11th June 2017, I will be skydiving for the charity KIDS which is a charity very close to home, helping disabled children to grow; develop, and enjoy their childhood. Not only do KIDS support the child within the family, they also aim to ensure the parents and siblings have the support they need to cope with the pressures and the demanding natures of a disable child.

1. Around 770,000 of the children in the UK are disabled
2. Every week 200 children are diagnosed as having an impairment
3. 29% of disabled children live in poverty
4. It cost 3 times as much for a family to bringing up a disabled child.
5. Disabled children's quality of life is affected by unequal access to education, communication, employment, leisure activities, housing and healthcare.

• Just £20 could pay for a bean bag to help support a child who cannot sit, or a toy in a sensory rooms.

• £95 could pay for a valuable and educational, Home Learning session for a family.
• £500 could fund an Auditory Sensory Kit for a KIDS adventure playground.
