These Syrians, like ourselves once had homes, families and a livelihood.  Now they have been displaced and have lost everything.  They live in camps and need to keep warm with the winter approaching.  Your kind and generous donation will buy them warm clothes, blankets and essentials for winter.  Your support would be a great motivator for me to do this walk for these lost and helpless souls to keep warm.  

This is also an expression of empathy and a message that we are right behind them and will do what we can to lift them up. That we care and are sensitive to their suffering.
