I am going to do the Big Heart Bike Ride in Tanzania in June 2011 to raise funds for four heart charities. That means cycling 400km over challenging terrain with another 30 or so people. I need to raise around 4000 euros fir the charities before 8th Aril 2011.

The charities I am raising money for are :

Tiny Tickers which funds detection of heart abnormalities in unborn babies

CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young for young people who have unknown heart disease

Heart UK - which funds research into familial high cholesterol

British Heart Foundation which is a major funder of research.

Although these are British charities the results of funding research change the way heart disease is treated across the world and so I am hoping that you will dig into your pockets and help me raise funds.
