We, that is Dale "twig legs" McLeish, Marc "aw ma backs sore" Moore and Kenny "Snakehips" McCracken are joining the thousands attempting to break a world record on August 10th 2013 at the Perth Kilt Run.

Fully laden with a traditional kilt we will run the 5K for our chosen charity Marie Curie and aim to raise as much as we can and support the great work that the charity does every day of the year.

We are hoping that it does not rain on the day and soak our kilts or the weight will make our task even harder but not impossible. Although to be fair it'll be hard enough anyway seeing as not one of us weigh more than 11stone with a wet duffle coat on!

We will be undertaking a gruelling training regime over the next few months, already Dale has cut down on sugar in his coffee, Marc has been working out with two baked beans tins and I have trimmed all my toe nails. This will only get tougher and more involved as we head into the summer so I would please ask you to dig deep and support our cause and help us raise way beyond out target of £1000.
