As some of you may be aware on the 29th June 2014 i will be travelling to Antelope Park in Zimbabwe, to volunteer in a lion rehabilitation project which is constructed by the organisation, 'African Impact'.

African Impact has partnered with The African Lion & Environmental Research Trust (ALERT), a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the African Lion.  In an attempt to offset the rapid decline of lion populations, they have instigated a 4-stage Lion Rehabilitation Programme that aims to release cubs of captive bred lions into appropriate national parks and reserves across Africa as self-sustaining wild animals. 

I am excited to run for a charity that provides so much hope for these amazing animals.  It would be fantastic to raise as much money possible for A.L.E.R.T.  Every donation small or large, would be greatly appreciated.

I ran a 10k last year, so a personal challenge I have set myself is to beat that time this year! Better get my arse in gear!
