Raising £1k on behalf of Street Child · 20 June 2016

Street Child's purpose is to see all children safe, in school and learning - even, and especially, in low-resource environments and emergencies. We work with an expanding network of 95+ local organisations for lasting impact in 20 countries across sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.

Story

I've turned this year's art into a series of 4 postcards, which can be yours for the tiny donation of £10. All money goes to Street Child, a UK-based charity which collaborates with local partners and NGOs to provide education to some of the world's most vulnerable children. And you get 4 delightful postcards, to do with as you will!

!!REMEMBER TO PM A POSTAL ADDRESS so I can send on the cards!! I'm on twitter @rjpitkin and Facebook.

I've chosen to support Street Child as they're a small, well-run, ethically-established NGO focusing specifically on supporting the rights of children in Sierra Leone and Nepal. They work in deep collaboration with local communities, and directly with street children in their own environment towards reunification with their families, reintroduction to education and the creation of a sustainable home-life for their ongoing upbringing.

*Street Child is a UK-based charity which collaborates with local partners and NGOs to provide education to some of the world's most vulnerable children. The charity began in Sierra Leone in 2008, and has since expanded to reach over 30,000 children across three countries. To read the latest Annual Report on where and how the funds raised were spent this year, please click here.
