Story
At such a sad time in my life I am going well out of my comfort zone, sooner than I would of liked too, to support the British Heart Foundation in working hard at curing and aiding all of those nasty heart conditions/diseases and most of all Failure!
This is a charity very close to my heart... I’ll start with my Nan ❤️ She was diagnosed with AF in 2012 and has since been told she has cardiac failure her heart doesn’t work as well as it should, so she often gets breathless even on the most short of distances.
She was recently diagnosed with Womb Cancer and As sure as ever she beat it!! We knew she would! Every day with her constant struggle of heart issues all the cardiac medications she takes daily just to keep her little ticker going is inspirational. A consultant once explained her heart as a saggy balloon 🎈 😕 who wants that!
To add to this.... this is also in honour of the gorgeous Princess Mimi who gained her angel wings on 22/03/19 aged 15.
Mia was a young girl with retts syndrome (cdkl5), epilepsy, diabetes aswell as requiring a tracheostomy and full time ventilation.... And yes I had the absolute honour of caring for her, for almost 4 years. She stole my heart like she did many others before and many since I’m sure ❤️ That in its self is worth raising awareness for believe me!!
Mia had the most amazing little life, wanted for nothing and an incredible inspiration to many.... but aswell as other issues Mimis little heart got tired 💔
I want to not only honour but tell the world how incredibly blessed I am to have these two wonderful people in my life!
So to raise awareness for all heart and cardiac conditions, I am going well out of my comfort zone, as anyone that knows me will know blankets and cosy pillows and log fires are my thing!! NOT the summit of snowdon 3,199ft up..... 🥶
So I am asking for any donations small or large what ever you can afford. Let’s continue to support the British Heart foundation and their amazing work!!
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
