Story
Hi everyone!
In just over 2 months, Krishan and I will be starting a 262 km (163 mile) long walk along the South West Coast path. The walk will take 10 days and will start at Jennycliff, Plymouth and finish at Land’s End, Cornwall, following the rugged and beautiful terrain of the UK coastline.
This section of coast has a particularly strong meaning for my family because it’s where my mum spent much of her childhood and also where we have many happy memories as a family. Mum loved the sea, and always wanted to be near the coast, so I can think of no better way to honour her memory than doing this walk along the South West Coast path.
Fundraising appeal:
Here’s where we need your help!
We will be raising money for NRAS (The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society). Mum was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis suddenly aged 22. Rheumatoid is an autoimmune condition which affects many parts of the body including the joints, bones, heart and many more.
Despite making some strides in recent years, scientists are still not sure what causes Rheumatoid and the current treatments available can be very aggressive. This is why vital research is needed to better understand the condition, along with more information and support, to give those with Rheumatoid hope for the future and a better quality of life.
So if you are able to donate, please do. It would mean so much and would make such a difference. No amount is too small, whatever you are able to give is greatly appreciated!
Just click the link to donate online.
I also have a paper fund raising form if anyone would prefer to give a cash donation, just message me and I will sort it out.
Feel free to share this far and wide.
Thank you so much you lovely generous people!
